Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most affluent. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films in which he appeared with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album, called With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a brand new reggae singer. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces together with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared at the Midem event (an international music festival) that was the first time it was staged in Miami. Marley's performance on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live to 36 countries through the Caribbean News Agency. Marley's name became the topic of a bidding war. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records, where in 1997, he collaborated with P.M. Dawn who was the lead singer on Gotta be Movin on up. Bob Marley is the father of his wife Anita Belnavis and he's their sole child. Ky-Mani Marley has been named the most wealthy Jamaican Reggae Singers.
